105mm Light Gun
The 105mm Light Gun, originally developed by Gat Industries, has been designed specifically as a “move and shoot” weapon system for rapid deployment and intervention by expeditionary forces.
Enhancing its deployability, the gun is small and light weight, yet very robust. The system has a variant that is transportable inside a V-22 Osprey. The gun can be air dropped or parachuted into position and can be towed by any 4-wheel-drive vehicle.
An extremely mature system, the 105mm Light Gun was first fielded in 1992. Today, 112 total systems are in service with five allied countries worldwide.
