In-Field Support

AAI Services provides field service representatives for unmanned aircraft system products to support customer requirements for technical assistance and logistics support. The AAI Unmanned Aircraft System Specialist (SM) program is unique in the industry, and provides a robust training program for AAI Field Service Representatives in UAS-specific systems including: automated launch and recovery systems, ground control systems, data link, and air vehicles. 

Personnel are selected based on their experience in aviation maintenance, UAS maintenance, and sophisticated electronic systems repair. Our people are equipped with the latest tools and test equipment and are capable of supporting a wide variety of tasks:

• Electronics repair to the circuit card level
• Software troubleshooting
• Component repair
• Composite repair
• Air vehicle engine periodic maintenance
• TCP/IP network set up and maintenance
• C4I connectivity
• Data link troubleshooting
• Launcher hydraulics and pneumatics
• Payload repair
• Logistics support
   

AAI has been supporting Shadow^® and Pioneer^® operations for more than 20 years, including deployment operations in four armed conflicts: Desert Storm, Kosovo, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. Field service representatives travel all over the world to support UAS operations.
