A2PATS - the next-generation electronic warfare simulator from AAI - is the most capable and compatible real-time radar threat simulator for use with today’s advanced military aircraft, delivering confidence and mission readiness for the air crews who fly them and the technicians who support them.  A2PATS provides:

  • Precise control of time, amplitude, and phase AOA to support next-generation precision digital radar warning receivers.
  • Unmatched availability via fast initial calibration and continuous back ground alignment, assuring operational mode virtually 100 percent of the time.
  • Powerful user interface that incorporates build routines for creating signals, emitter, sites, and ownships; static and dynamic scenario generation support; and displays continuously monitored system health.
  • Low cost of ownership - advanced architecture provides the modularity, scalability, and expandability to increase pulse density and add to reconfigure ports without new or redesigned matrices.
  • A threat emitter library compatible with ASTG, JSECST, and other EW test systems.

AAI’s Joint Service Electronic Combat Systems Tester (JSECST) has expanded from the flight line and flight deck into the systems integration and the EW support laboratory. Scaled to fit into a standard 19-inch rack, Lab JSECST is a fully programmable stimulus and measurement system that supports vertical testability in the original equipment manufacturer electronic combat system laboratory or the back room of a maintenance depot.

The Baringa flight line test set and systems integration laboratory tool stimulates ultraviolet and infrared missile warning systems. Baringa is compatible with AAR-47, AAR-54, AAR-57 (CMWS), AAR-60 (MILDS), and MWS-200. Man-portable and battery-powered, it is manufactured as ruggedized MIL-specification equipment and can be delivered with software tools for threat re-programming and full remote operation.

The Hydra systems integration lab and flight line test set tool stimulates laser warning receiver systems. It is compatible with WR-1, WR-2A, LWS-200/300/400, and series 1220/1223. Man-portable and battery-powered, Hydra is manufactured as ruggedized MIL-specification equipment and can be enhanced with software tools for threat re-programming and full remote operation.

The MEON is a system integration lab test set is used for stimulation and radiometric measurement of missile warning system/infrared counter measures. MEON is compatible with ALQ-144, ALQ-157, ALQ-204 (Matador), AAQ-24 (Nemesis), and ALQ-212 (ATIRCM). Man-portable and battery-powered, it is manufactured as ruggedized MIL-specification equipment for use on the flightline as well as the laboratory an
d can be provided with software tools for threat re-programming and full remote operation.
