  Jan 30, 2012 AAI Logistics & Technical Services Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract for B-1B Training System Support  
    AAI Logistics & Technical Services, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that the company has received an award from the U.S. Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to provide logistics support and concurrency modifications for the B-1B Training System. The award has a total potential value of $162 million over seven years.  
       
  Jan 23, 2012 AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems and ViaSat Enter Strategic Alliance  
    AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, and ViaSat Inc. (Nasdaq:VSAT) announced today that the organizations have entered into a strategic alliance to align AAI's advanced unmanned aircraft and command and control technologies with ViaSat integrated airborne and terrestrial satellite communications, as well as its Internet Protocol-based networking and security technology. Under the agreement, the organizations intend to develop and mature beyond-line-of-sight satellite communications capabilities for current and next-generation AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems aircraft.  
       
       
  Jan 11, 2012 AAI Test & Training Named to U.S. Navy Multiple-Award Contract  
    AAI Test & Training, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that it has been named as a prime contractor to the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division's (NAWCTSD) Training Systems Contract III (TSC III) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). The TSC III MAC, inclusive of all potential contracts among the 28 named companies, including AAI Test & Training, has a not-to-exceed value of $2 billion.
